In addition to the network maps of livelihood landscapes which qualitatively demonstrate the underlying patterns of occupational interrelations, we were also interested in using formal quantitative analyses of the livelihood landscapes with the objective to capture and assess several structural characteristics that might be of relevance in explaining socioeconomic development in communities.
Based on the LM analysis of morphological interrelations of serotonergic afferents and NPY-ir somata, quantitative analyses were carried out using dual labeling of NPY and 5-HTT, which yielded specific and consistent results of numerous contacts between serotonergic fibers and NPY-ir neurons (Fig. 2).
However, considering the quantitative and qualitative importance of nursing in health care and its close interrelation with medical care especially in hospital settings, it may be questioned why the Nursing Council does not have an equal right in decision making, meaning a vote, in the respective decision making bodies [ 19].
We think that this path is fruitful when dealing with complex situations where a great number of value (both qualitative and quantitative) drivers must be taken into account, and/or where explicit account of their interrelations must be taken for a better description and rationalization of the evaluation process.
Here we revisit the interrelations between population genetic structure, mating system and plant traits using a quantitative estimate of the mating system (i.e. outcrossing rate), while controlling phylogenetic signal and using traits as covariates.
We are therefore lacking (1) an explicit socio-ecological view that explains the interrelation of possible causative factors, (2) an integrated summary of these causative factors obtained through quantitative and qualitative methods, and (3) empirical guidelines for developing public health interventions to promote older driver safety.
In view of the large number of existing quantitative measures of network structure [22], [25], methods are needed for comparing the different indexes and investigating their interrelations.
