There's no sense in putting something off till another time.
Basically, if I notice that I'm putting something off I tell myself, "Ok, I can do other things after I do just 5 minutes of work on X.
The former, which means speaking or acting with intent to deceive, is often confused with the latter, which means putting something off.
Once you start, momentum shifts from putting something off or thinking about the fact you should start.
