In order to identify putative cell death regulators and executors, we performed a genome-wide in silico search of the Toxoplasma resource database (ToxoDB; Version 6.3) [ 26] for putative cell death-related genes.
Another gene (WRIC_116) was labeled as putative cell death suppressor, which doesn't have a clear function annotation.
