Perhaps it should come as no surprise that a publisher of supermarket tabloids, which primarily trade in gossip and titillation, also puts out magazines with a twisted conception of the Third Reich's involvement in World War II.
As wholeness — not only physical but also emotional, psychological, and communal — is on our minds, it is worth returning to Anil Ananthaswamy's "Do No Harm," a narrative published last November by Matter, one of the more notable innovators putting out magazine-style journalism specifically for the Web and e-readers.
Issue 3, published in 1968, maintains the Dunkers' rather off-putting honesty: "We put out this magazine for the same reason that little boys run around and shout and make noise.
