Drug therapy helps for a while, but it provokes side effects and ultimately can't keep up with the progressive disease.
As is the case in other series that have been described, we found that quadruple therapy frequently provokes side effects that produce a reduction in the fulfilment of the therapy (11% of the patients included in the quadruple therapy regimen did not complete the recommended programme).
