They have conducted VES survey using Schlumberger electrode configuration to identify the detailed variations of groundwater prospect zones.
The very good groundwater prospect zones are mostly in the alluvial plains/valleys, with smooth and irregular plain geomorphological classes.
The higher borehole yields localities which are found to be situated in the area classified as very good groundwater prospect zones in the reclassified geologic map (Fig. 4).
They have used IRS 1C LISSIII data and vertical electrical sounding (VES) techniques for identification groundwater prospect zones in hard rock terrain.
