Gunter said he would look into the limits of the law and find out if officials could set distance limits on proposed development areas when located near a school or other sensitive environment.
The plan proposes development areas: Greater north west Swansea (inc Penllergaer, Garden Village, Pontarddulais) 5,800 new homes proposed.

"The area has always been the university sports field and the proposed development would substantially increase the number of people who can enjoy the site, promoting physical activity and the resulting benefits to health and wellbeing.
For some opponents, however, the issue is not Fairway itself, but that the proposed development does not include enough housing to serve and revitalize the area.
