For the old/new recognition test, the dependent measures were hits (the proportion of targets correctly classified as old/studied) and correct rejections (the proportion of targets correctly classified as new/non-studied).
Therefore HuEx contains a higher proportion of targets that are expected to be less frequently or not expressed.
