Chen et al. [13] proposed two faster greedy algorithms called MixedGreedy and DegreeDiscount for the IC model where the propagation probabilities on all edges are the same; MixedGreedy removes the edges that have no contribution for propagating influence, which can reduce the computation on the unnecessary edges; DegreeDiscount assumes that the influence spread increases with node degree.
