Further studies concern the experimental prolongation of swing, from short prolongations up to those of more than the duration of a stance movement (Schumm and Cruse 2006; Cruse and Epstein 1982; Dean and Wendler 1982).
Treatment with warfarin followed by rivaroxaban (group A) resulted in HepTest prolongation; geometric mean Emax was prolonged up to 2.15-fold of baseline value, which was similar to that observed with the rivaroxaban alone group (C; geometric mean Emax: 2.01-fold of baseline value).
Cycle prolongation of up to one week occurred in 20 patients due to the following reasons: neutropenia 5 patients, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia 1 patient, reduced performance status 3 patients, increased liver enzymes 1 patient, oedema 1 patient, intercurrent disease 4 patients and logistic reasons 5 patients.

Prolongation of follow up, to 180 days, adds little value.
The prolongation of incubation time up to 24 h resulted in an increase of SA- β-galactosidase expression up to 40% and after 48 h up to 50%.
