Panchgavya therapy utilises these five products singly or in combination with herbal or mineral drugs for the treatment of many diseases like flu, allergies, colds, cough, asthma, renal disorders, gastrointestinal tract disorders, acidity, ulcer, wound healing, heart diseases, skin infections, tuberculosis, chickenpox, hepatitis, leprosy and several other bacterial and viral infections.
All products tested singly were applied on a preventive, 7-day schedule with the exception of OxiDate, which was applied twice weekly in 2011.
However, control of downy mildew was not achieved with the organic products tested singly in 2012 and the combination programs tested in 2013, 2014, and 2015, which were all applied with a boom with three nozzles per plant, two of which were drops.
Accordingly, uniform products with singly shape were obtained in our experiment.
Possible interactions between NLR and other covariates were examined by introducing product terms singly into the final model but no significant interactions were identified.
Fungicide Evaluations – Organic Products – Products evaluated singly were Actinovate, BioGuard*, Companion*, Organocide*, Oxidate, Procidic, Regalia, Sporatec*, Sonata*, and Timorex Gold* (*product not registered or not labeled for this use).
Fungicide Evaluations – Conventional Products – When tested singly, the most effective fungicides in the 2013 experiment were Zampro*, Revus, Orondis (pka Zorvec *, and Ranman (*not registered yet).
PCR reactions were performed in a C1000 Thermal Cycler (Bio-Rad, Applied Biosystems, Foster City, California, USA) as follows: an initial denaturation at 95°C for 2 min; followed by 30 cycles at 95°C for 30 s, 57°C for 30 s, and 73°C for 30 s; and a final extension at 73°C for 5 min. Each PCR product was amplified singly.
Fragmentation of the doubly charged precursor ion at m/ z 871.9 produced singly charged product ions, which were observed as an [M +- Na]+- ion series.
The precursor [M +- Na]2+- ions produced singly charged product ions arising predominantly from cleavage across the glycosidic bonds together with a number of additional product ions derived from cross-ring cleavages, as will be discussed later.
Fragmentation of these ions (MS) produced an intense singly charged product ion at m/ z 1696.81, arising from elimination of the inositol residue and quaternary amine group (Supplementary data Figure S2), which on further fragmentation (MS) produced the product ion spectra shown in Figure 5.
