From the patient's perspective – or rather the perspective of the parent of a sick child – we look at processes of delays in reaching adequate health care after contacting a health facility.
And rather than abolishing segregation forthwith, the justices sought advice on how to do it, thus starting a process of delay that southern states exploited.

In this contribution, we propose modelling the process of delay propagation by using complex networks, in which nodes are associated to airports, and links between pairs of them are assigned when a delay propagation is detected.

The hypothetical process of delay discounting, whereby reinforcing outcomes are deemed to be devalued by delays interposed between the choice response and the delivery of the primary reinforcer, is widely assumed to imply the operation of a timing process [49 52].
Moreover, quantitative analysis of inter-temporal choice suggests that lesions of this structure have a selective effect on the process of delay discounting, and do not alter rats' sensitivity to reinforcer size [4,5].
However, since no delays were imposed in the adjusting-magnitude schedule, the possibility cannot be excluded that the differences in Fos expression in the AcbC associated with the two adjusting schedules reflected the mere presence of delays, rather than the process of delay discounting.
