Chromophores, incorporating the electron-withdrawing nitro-group, underwent a faster rate of Z to E isomerization in darkness than the electron-donating methoxy groups did; the isomerization process proceeded via a rotation mechanism.
The process R is a rotation transformation, as shown in Fig. 3e.
In the Na+/H+ antiporters (Lee et al., 2013; Paulino et al., 2014) or the bile acid transporter ASBT (Zhou et al., 2014), where the binding site is defined by unwound stretches of two trans-membrane helices in a structurally homologous bundle, this process also involves a rotation of the bundle around a similar axis as in SeCitS, although the movement is significantly smaller.
Through this process, a scale s, rotation matrix R, and translation T are retrieved to align the point cloud to BIM.
A rotation process begins: the melodic material is broken into fragments and repeatedly reshaped.
Other people present become observers, active listeners, and potential participants through a rotation process which reduces the distance between speakers and audience.
To map the two outlooks, a process of rotation and translation is performed to match the source to the target.

These results have been taken as evidence of a continuous process of rotation and have generated competing hypotheses.
In contrast, the patchy environments (Fig. 1B) are created by a random walk process sampling rotations from a uniformly random distribution, and step lengths from a long-tailed Pareto distribution (Preston et al. 2010).
