This paper reviews procedures from five different industries for building safety into design processes, mainly in the context of software development.
Genomic DNA was extracted by standard procedures from five HLA homozygous lymphoblastoid cell lines, namely PITOUT DQB1-0201), HOM-2 (DQB1-0501), JVM (DQB1-0301), SAVC (DQB1-0302), and OLL (DQB1-0402) and from the heterozygous cell line RAJI (DQB1 0201-0501; G. Tosi, personal communication).
Incident childhood leukaemia cases were identified using the International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O) criteria (ICDO, 2000) with rapid case ascertainment procedures from seven (Phase one) and expanded to nine (Phase two) pediatric hospitals in the Northern and Central California study region.
