Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common rheumatic disease, and is becoming a major public health problem with the ageing of the population and the growing incidence of obesity in developed countries [ 1].
As in many other European countries, there is an acute problem with the advancing age of shepherds and a failure to adequately reproduce a qualified workforce for pastoral enterprises (see Hadjigeorgiou 2011; Manzano Baena and Casas 2010).
For example, a large-scale Finnish population follow-up study by Sourander et al. [ 11] linked conduct and conduct-emotional problems at the age of 8 with an elevated risk for suicide in adolescence and young adulthood (OR 6.2, CI 1.8 20.9).
Western studies, however, indicated that the relation between gender and behavioral problem can also be different as behavioral problems appeared equally in both genders (Campbell 1995), or there was no gender difference regarding externalizing behavioral problem with children under the age of four (Hill et al. 2006).
