EVANSTON, Ill., June 9 (AP) — Northwestern reinstated its women's soccer program Friday after suspending it for hazing, but several players have been placed on disciplinary probation and the team will be required to perform community service.
At one point during the visit -- shortly after Dr. Pruden and a nurse, Barbara Koegel, packed up an electronic blood pressure gauge -- a member of the probation team, Sonia Valentin, pressed David on his gang membership.
"I think if the blame was laid right at the head coach's feet instead of putting the team on probation, put the head coach on probation rather than the school," Knight said, according to The Associated Press.
The school also said it would put the team on probation for two years and return to the N.C.A.A. $450,000 it received for postseason appearances.
The N.C.A.A. cited Oregon on Wednesday for failing to monitor its football program, placing the team on probation and bringing a quiet end to a lengthy and high-profile investigation.
After the Times series ran, the NCAA placed the team on probation.
It forced Notre Dame to vacate wins from its 2012 and 2013 football seasons, put the team on probation and levied a modest fine.
Current FACT programs strip away some high-fidelity components of ACT (such as 24 h availability, daily team meetings, an employment specialist) and add new elements not found in typical ACT teams (such as a probation or parole officer on the team, recruitment from criminal justice settings, supervised residential treatment component for high risk consumers with substance abuse comorbidities).
You have to earn the trust from the judge, probation officer and the rest of the team.
Services include local authorities, the police, the probation board, the youth offending team, the Strategic Health Authority and Primary Care Trusts, Connexions partnerships, and the Learning and Skills Council.
