When we stratified results according to fracture location (probable low BMD fractures vs. normal BMD fractures), results were similar for all the antihypertensive classes except THZs (Table 3).
We found older adults initiating with THZs had a decreased rate of probable low BMD (hip and radius) fractures in the year following initiation.
