"This is not an anti-aggregation group, we are pro-aggregation," Mr. Dumenco told me.
Interestingly, SCF at concentrations above 10 μg/ml showed pro-aggregation of platelets with ADP as agonist, whereas pro-aggregation activity of SCF was observed above 2 μg/ml concentration in collagen-activated platelet (Figs. 8 and 9).
It is noted that SCF inhibited ADP-induced platelet aggregation at doses below 10 μg/ml and caused pro-aggregation at higher doses (Fig. 8).
