The method for technical contradiction solving is a 12-step sequential algorithm in which the 39 engineering parameters, 40 inventive principles, contradiction matrix, and many cases are applied to find the solutions of a technical contradiction (Savransky 2000; Tan 2002).
The turning point in this period came when in 1911 Leśniewski read Łukasiewicz's groundbreaking 1910 monograph O zasadzie sprzeczności u Arystotelesa [On the Principle of Contradiction in Aristotle], a radical rethink of the status of the principle of contradiction in the light of modern logic.
