The distribution reflects the probability of the cells being in each attractor, and may be interpreted as the proportion of primordial cells fixed to each GRN configuration.
Quantification of follicle numbers showed that the proportion of primordial follicles in rapamycin-treated Oo Tsc1−/− ovaries was elevated to 73%, which was similar to the proportion in Oo Tsc1+/+ ovaries (74%) (Fig. 6F).
Results: Proportions of primordial follicles were significantly lower in grafts than in the tissue before transplantation in gonadotrophin-stimulated mice (37% versus 79%), but not in non-stimulated mice (51% versus 74%).
The combined treatment of CTGF and TGFβ-1 was found to increase the proportion of assembled primordial follicles and decrease the proportion of unassembled follicles (Figure 4B and 4C).
