Due to the limited number of primate imaging time points, it was necessary to construct a kinetic model (Figure 3c) to estimate the full dynamics of 64Cu uptake in the renal pelvis for accurate estimation of radiation absorbed dose.
Thus, the C-terminal domain has been subject to positive selection for at least 33 million years (i.e., the primate divergence time) [37].
Published primate divergence times from the accepted paleontological records and the age of the pseudogenes based on molecular clock calculations were compared to data obtained by detection of PCR products exhibiting the expected amplicon size of the pseudogene region.
The task of estimating primate divergence times has been complicated by the presence of pronounced substitution rate heterogeneity among lineages, a phenomenon that has been of long-standing interest.

While primate total development time scales with the expected 0.25 exponent, the other three orders all have total development times that scale with body mass with an exponent of 0.15.
In primates, relationships are maintained by grooming a small set of key allies, but the amount of time primates can devote to grooming is limited by competing demands for time (Dunbar et al. 2009).
And this new way of life meant that, for the first time, primates started eating not only fruit picked from trees, but also the fallen fruits below.
Interpretively, this appearance of a single continuous landscape (as installed in the previous exhibition) was somewhat confusing to visitors who— ignoring the accompanying text panel— assumed that all these primates coexisted in time.
