In a previous study, using regional MRI, we found that morphological alterations throughout the brain in the YAC tg152F7 were not uniform: the total brain volume was 14% greater in transgenic mice than in wild-type mice, with an effect 2,5 greater (25% /10% in the ventral region (including the thalamic-hypothalamic region) than in the cortex (10% greater volume) [23].
Most of previous studies on regional poverty evaluations are based on statistics collected typically in administrative units.
However, in previous studies, such regional disparities are often overlooked, hence this study analyzes 6 Korean sub-national and 31 Chinese provincial levels while taking into consideration of reginal disparities.

While our present data show significant up-regulation of pebp in a single temperate population under DI conditions, the previous study suggested a regional effect on pebp expression in these populations, rather than a simple over-expression of pebp under DI conditions.
