In an in vivo rat model of acute lung injury, tidal volume reduction from 12 to 3 ml/kg resulted in greater preservation of airspace fluid transport (Fig. 3) [ 40].
The coupling method also exhibits consistency properties, such as conservation of uniform movement of both fluid and solid, absence of numerical roughness on a straight boundary, and preservation of a constant fluid state around a wall having tangential deformation velocity.
A key aspect in the control of these patients resides in the preservation of a delicate fluid balance, which is always individualized and personalized.
This effect was reversed by the end of the month, possibly by adaptations in renal hemodynamics, tubular function and homeostasis of fluid preservation [ 22, 23].
