Common arguments against the detailed presentation of trial results contend that it is unnecessary or it is unduly burdensome on authors, readers, or publishers.
Given the ease of implementation and application to a variety of outcome types, trialists may be encouraged to address the issue of potential composite heterogeneity more often and more directly in the presentation of trial results.
