The initial presentations of significant hyperuricemia, hyperphosphatemia, metabolic acidosis, AKI and relative hypocalcemia were all consistent with STLS.

The odds ratio for the presentation of aesthetically significant fluorosis was 3.34 (robust SE 1.22; 95%CI 1.52, 7.04) for subjects consuming drinking water with a fluoride content equal to or greater than 0.9pmm relative to drinking water consumption with less than 0.2 ppm fluoride.
