I've recommended this book so many times over the years, mostly because a one-sentence description of its premise makes it one of the easiest books ever to sell: the father of a recently deceased 12-year-old persuades the Queen of England to pay for him and seven terminally ill kids to go on a free vacation to Disney World, a last treat before all the other children die.
