Step 4. Determine the individual preferences of the first round.
In 2004, a research conducted by Sabanci University (Celik and Ecer 2009) for the purpose of revealing the elements of the university preferences of the first 5,000 students who have the highest scores showed that 54% of the successful students did not feel happy with their universities and academic programs.
Historian John Roberts has suggested that the request may have been attributable to the Royal Navy's practice of using small battleships and large cruisers as flagships of stations far from Britain, or it might have reflected the preferences of the First Sea Lord and Admiral of the Fleet John Fisher, preferences not widely shared.
The difference between the preferences of the first and second test blocks was not significant in either condition (Push: Wilcoxon matched-pair test: n = 12, T = 5.00, p = 1.0; pull: Wilcoxon matched pair test: n = 14, T = 9.00, p = 0.21).

In the context of mate preferences, hybrids may then favour or ignore different traits compared to the parents, which might explain the strong partner preference of the first-generation hybrids for Western M. arvalis males (Fig. 3).
The chances for the remaining local individuals to be chosen as the second parent are the product of Eq. 5 and the mate choice preference of the first parent (mc, see section Assortative Mating).
These students "disliked" the proportional rule as much as the students in Athens but had, in contrast to Athens, a very strong preference for the first of the two progressive schemes.
The chairman of the national executive committee, Jim Kennedy, will draw the audience's attention to a big screen where the results of the alternative vote poll will be shown, round-by-round, so that members can see who received the most and least first preferences, and how the second preferences of voters accumulated to provide a winner of the contest.
Note that the only difference between the two tables is the preference orderings of the fourth group of voters.
