When a user request belonging to a specific priority class arrives, the admission control algorithm uses the time series predictor to forecast the average arrival rate of the class for the next interval, computes the average waiting time for the class for the next interval, and determines if the incoming user request is admitted to the server.
We ran separate models where the predictor was the media time series, shifted up to 6 months after or 6 months before mortality.
