The in vivo precision deviations between two repeated BMD measurements at different skeletal sites in 33 subjects were determined by the root-mean-square CV method [ 28] and were 0.83% for the PA lumbar spine, 1.17% for the femoral neck, and 0.88% for the total hip.
Bias (mean difference), precision (standard deviation of bias), 95% limits of agreement, and correlation coefficient (r) between changes of CO measured by ΔPulseCO, ΔPCCOpre, ΔPCCOrecal and ΔCCOPAC compared with ΔCOTCP.
Bias (mean difference from expected PCO2) and precision (standard deviation of the bias) of PCO2 measured in saline was determined by comparison of measured PCO2 with expected PCO2.
The mean bias (average difference between catheter readings and CO-oximeter values), precision (standard deviation of the bias) and limits of agreement (bias ± 2 SD of bias) were -0.17, 4.7 and -0.17 ± 9.4 respectively.
In all the performed characterisations using calibrated pumps, both the precision (standard deviation of the error) and accuracy (mean of the error) were below 5% of the nominal injected volume.
Temporal prediction indices (Fig. 3B), which ranged from 1.007 to 1.110 (1.06 ± 0.02 [mean and standard deviation]), as well as synchronization accuracy (mean asynchrony = −36.04 ± 15.40 ms) and precision (standard deviation of asynchronies = 41.66 ± 8.38 ms), were commensurate with results observed in previous studies using this task18,19,20.
During the study period, the bias in CO values between bolus thermodilution and whole-body impedance cardiography ranged from 0.07 to 1.05 L/min and the precision (standard deviation of differences) ranged from 0.82 to 1.31 L/min.
MAE and MBE indices were calculated to assess the precision and deviation of interpolation models, respectively (Table 7).
Simulations using synthetic TOF data show that RANSAC is capable of good stiffness reconstruction accuracy (mean error 0.5 kPa) and precision (standard deviation 0.6 kPa) over a range of shear stiffness (0.6-10 0.6-10nd proportion of inlier data (50%-95%).
