The word "pov" is slang and not usually used in written English. It is typically used to mean "point of view" or "perspective," especially when talking about an extremely personal opinion or experience. For example, "I appreciate hearing your pov on this issue."
So I had misgivings about director Whitney Dow's the Whiteness Project, the new interactive documentary launched over the weekend by POV.
