The phrase "posterior shift" is correct and usable in written English
It can be used in contexts related to anatomy, movement, or data analysis where a shift towards the back or rear is being described.
Example: "The study observed a significant posterior shift in the center of mass during the exercise."
Alternatives: "rearward shift" or "backward shift."
