Although realistic management objectives are best formulated as an acceptable target range (e.g., Fig. 9), traditional silvicultural guidelines that recommend specific numbers of trees per hectare at different top heights post thinning typically aim at a single, narrow target (i.e., treatment that follows a guiding curve rather than a window/corridor of acceptable conditions).
In this study, we used non-contact specular microscopy to follow-up the CCT changes within 6 months post thin-flap LASIK treatment.
By the fourth quarter of last year, Amazon began posting thin operating profits.
Therefore, the post-thinning volume (as opposed to the pre-thinned volume) was considered to be the observation for that year except for the one plot where the thinning was not done at plot establishment.

When remaining basal area was optimized in the Poisson stand (together with thinning intervals and tree selection rule), lower discount rate (1 %) led to clearly longer thinning intervals, higher pre-thinning basal areas, larger mean tree diameters, and slightly higher post-thinning basal areas and mean diameters, compared to 3%% discount rate (Fig. 10).
In addition, a majority of the growth observations of this experiment represented immediate post-thinning growth.

A large increase in relative abundance of white-footed mice occurred one year post-thinning in all treatments.
