This paper considers another representation and fusion of prioritized information using guaranteed possibility measures.
However, there exists such an argument for ranking functions, which are formally similar to possibility measures.
In all circumstances necessity and possibility measures allow to deal with the available information without introducing arbitrary models which could bias the evaluation.
