The database uses ISOGG Y-DNA tree as the source of mutations and haplogroups and by using genomic positions of the mutations the database links them to genes and other biological entities.
The i-th entry contains the pointer to the start of the list of positions in the database called the offset list, where the k-mer with value i occurs.
Table 2 presents the mean durations for the medial position of the production database (initial position is not given due to the occurring word boundary).

We have identified the frequency of different sequence start and end positions within the database.
