The newly sampled pose is accepted based on several criteria: 1) If the RMSD of the current ligand pose compared to the starting pose is larger than 3.5 Å, the current pose is rejected and coordinates of the starting pose are reassigned to the ligand.
As we show in experiments with the public database (Pointing'04) as well as with our real-world sequence, our approach describes the head with a high accuracy and provides robust estimation of the head pose, compared to state-of-the-art methods.
But how big a threat do they pose compared with other culprits?
As shown in Figure 7, the binding energy between torcetrapib and ErbB1 tyrosine kinase experienced a lower reduction in the best docking pose compared with compound POX (POX, 35.5674 kcal/mol; torcetrapib, 34.7466 kcal/mol).
Interestingly, docking studies of the N4 4-methoxyphenyl derivatives (43, 48, 52 and 54– 56) showed that most of the compounds adopted an alternative binding pose compared to that of the N4 furfuryl compounds (Fig. 2c).
Interestingly, the ligand has taken an opposite binding pose compared to epibatidine; its aromatic moiety is involved in hydrophobic contacts with the residues of the aromatic cavity within the binding pocket (W53, Y91, W145, Y184, Y191) and the basic bicyclic moiety takes a similar position as the chloropyridinyl ring of epibatidine.
For the different poses, the projected LDA features clearly outperform the other techniques (between 4% to 12% of loss of accuracy for the different poses compared to the frontal views) because they exploit the specificity of the features for speech recognition compared to the more general image or DCT feature spaces (accuracy loss 25%to34%4% compared to the frontal views).
Our explanation for this is, "Jog" and "Box" have more variate poses compared with "Gesture" (the lower body parts of the performer are relatively stable), "Throw/Catch" (the lower body parts are also relatively stable) and "Walking" (the movements of body parts are not as fierce as in "Jog" and "Box").
