Graphic modelling of fire events indicate three-quarters of all fires sampled were less than 6.25 ha in size, but burned over 50% of the area sampled during the period; only a small portion of fires were larger than 18 ha within the sample area.
He identifies the world with fire, but goes on to specify portions of fire that are kindling and being quenched.
"Fire crews will concentrate their efforts from the northwest portion of the fire area in order to stem the fire's spread in that direction, and to provide additional protection for the base's space launch complexes," the Air Force said in a statement.

But the portion of the fire in the park didn't present any threat, and two weeks later, the entire fire was almost completely contained.
"Somebody designed a system by which the human fat could drain back into the central portion of the fire, so they would have to use less fuel," he went on.
"We have knocked a good portion of this fire down with some great firefighting work overnight, and throughout the day yesterday, but we are not going to call any of it contained until firefighters feel more confident about that," Fire Information Officer Gregg Goodland said during a press conference Wednesday, according to the Canon City Daily Record.
Nineteenth century historical records of fisher and spotted owls suggest some portion of active-fire forest landscapes still provided the large snags, logs, and high canopy cover associated with resting, denning, and nesting sites for these species.
"The fire continues to spread west into steep, inaccessible areas with beetle-killed timber on the west and northwest portions of the fire," a statement from the federal fire incident command center said.
