Characterization of the PfLAMMER describes the enzyme as comprised of 2 domains, where the N-terminal domain is unique and containing multiple consensus phosphorylation sites, a number of RS/SR dipeptides, a large portion of charged residues, two putative nuclear localization signals, and 14 copies of a DKYD repeat and the C-terminal domain is typical of the LAMMER family [ 42].
