PCR-DGGE bands exhibiting remarkable changes in response to SOP in total bacterial or Butyrivibrio populations (bands 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24) were excised, re-amplified and sequenced.
