But Bob Bratko, chairman of another local group with a pool plan, the McCarren Park Pool Task Force, says the building is dangerously dilapidated and should be torn down, except for its central arch.
More direct evidence for the likely involvement of the head direction system in the geometric task comes from the finding that lesions of the lateral mammillary nucleus, also part of the head direction system, produce a transient acquisition deficit on the active version of the same rectangular pool task (Vann, 2011).
