This farm-scale method could be used further for water management stakeholders to (i) evaluate the suitability of measures from Water Policy for the diversity of farm management or (ii) design suitable measures for the diversity of farm management on a territory subjected to groundwater pollution issue.
In order to maximize the difference in PM air pollution exposure, subjects wore the mask for 24 hr before the mask study day, in addition to wearing it during the 24 hr study day, and were given instructions to wear the mask at all times while outdoors and as much as possible when indoors.
Nevertheless, the significant differences in clinical and neuropathology findings between high and low pollution exposed subjects warrants extensive investigations in exposed populations from countries around the world.
The study time period (1981 1996) does not necessarily limit these results to a historical interest only given that the primary aim was to compare the effect of pollution on subjects in the community versus within hospital.
Previous studies have reported a stronger association between BP and air pollution among subjects with antihypertensive medication (Auchincloss et al. 2008; Fuks et al. 2014; Schwartz et al. 2012).

However, since asthma and COPD are known to be exacerbated by traffic-related air pollution, diseased subjects may have been more likely to move away from traffic, rather than towards it, and so a migrational bias would mainly be expected to dilute the effects.
