The Ghanaian Government is scaling up the Kumasi programme to cover all of Ghana, but there is currently no policy on evaluating the lives of the new cohorts of young people living with SCD through social research.
Authors in [36], define a core language to specify the access and usage control requirements and then give a formalism based on the logic of temporary actions (TLA) [37] to specify the behavior of the policy controller in charge of evaluating such policy.
This should involve, at the least, development of policies for evaluating proposals on databases and associated analytic tools, for their sustained funding, and for ensuring that the data deposited remain accessible long after the project originators have moved on.

Our investigation of how changing subsidies for these medications has driven changes in their use is important both in terms of evaluating current policies and in shaping future policy initiatives that aim to influence the uptake of smoking cessation pharmacotherapies, in pregnancy and more generally.
