While cells were arrested in metaphase, we reactivated CEN3, which led to KT reassembly and interaction with MTs extending from a spindle pole (spindle-pole MTs).
Our data also demonstrate a significant reduction in the pole-to-pole spindle length after TBCD depletion, suggesting that this cofactor participates in microtubule spindle dynamics.
