Eddie Jones's 21 points paced the Hornets, who had won six of their previous eight.
Isaiah Rider's 19 points paced the Nuggets, who fell to 1-4.
Clifford Robinson's 29 points paced the Suns, who had won five of their previous six and five of seven on the road.
Rasheed Wallace's 13 points paced the Trail Blazers, who shot 34.6percentt from the field (28 for 81) and hit 19 of 33 free throws.
Carson did see more time in the playoffs, scoring at a 13.6-point pace in five games.
