Using left M1 as seed region, functional connectivity analysis revealed stronger interhemispheric functional connectivity between left M1 and right PMd in right-handers as compared to left-handers.
Superposition of the PMD in these three states revealed that this region undergoes an anticlockwise twist relative to the transmembrane region from state 1 to state 3 when viewed from the luminal/extracellular side (Fig. 5A).
In contrast, for the 48 200 Hz sub-band only the data from PMd in one subject (H464) were significantly different from zero (t-test with p<0.0001; all other t-tests with p>0.05).
One cannot diagnose true PMD in this case.
These associations changed minimally when we included PMD in models with the four selected texture features.
Similar estimates of attributable risk have been calculated for PMD in the Breast Cancer Detection and Demonstration project [ 9].
Alternatively, higher PMD in Ashkenazi Jews may result from previously unknown genetic risk factors for breast cancer development.
There was no evidence of an association of rs10733604 (PRPF4) with adjusted PMD in SASBAC (P = 0.23).
The selected features within each group were more predictive than PMD in both the unadjusted analysis and the adjusted analyses.
The splitting of the peaks was due to the PMD in the spool, and the separations between the paired peaks were all approximately 16 microns, as expected.
This confirms the notion that the role of PMd in action selection goes beyond its ability to code the spatial parameters of reaching movements.
