Recent studies have confirmed intuition: If you shift a plot of farmland from food production to fuel production, the market will grow the food somewhere else.
We plot the time evolutions of food and species according to the optimal and non-optimal control laws with the first set of Table 3 (see Figures 3(a) and (b)).
Apparently, the harvest period T is extended, harvesting rates (e_{1}) and (e_{2}) are enlarged, and our final gains are also increased after our optimal control.Additionally, we adapt this set of data to plot the phase diagram of food and species according to the optimal and initial controls, respectively (see Figure 1).
A respondent's score denotes the position in the scores plot, and the position in the scores plot is directly related to the loadings plot: The diet of a respondent who is positioned to the left in the plot is characterised by consumption of food groups to the left in the loadings plot and so on.
