It was found that the improved quality of predicted contacts by PconsC (Skwark et al., 2013) increases quality and native-likeliness of predicted structures by about 33% over EVfold and 16% over EVfold-PLM, that is using the improved contact predictions from plmDCA (Ekeberg et al., 2013).
A PLM i) that is not smaller than 1 is related to the average channel quality and the sum of distance between a node and its direct neighbors.
