Mr. Armstrong has tried to make the best of a new game plan he admits he did not foresee.
He recalls that the working title for the night was I Want To Know What Love Is, I Want You to Show Me. "There was never a plan," he admits.
His original plan, he admits, was to make it his own "safe haven" but, with commitments across the globe, he later decided to open it as a 12-bedroom guesthouse.
"Let's be honest, there is no quick fix, there is no grand plan," he admitted.
He made a scapegoat of Jack O'Callahan, one of the team's best defensemen -- with the plan, he admitted later, of causing the others to unite on O'Callahan's behalf.

"Under normal circumstances there would be a much more detailed set of plans and specifications," he admits, but these plans would be enough to get the job done.
