"Clearly only a minority of emergency room physicians are doing that right now, but within the next year it will be used by the vast majority," said Dr. Nadkarni, who had no connection to the research presented in Boston.
Right now physicians categorize these recoveries from MS as dormant MS and it remains to be seen if they are permanent.
Right now, physicians can't easily track the results of the full scope of care patients receive in real-time or learn other important information about their patients' care outside the individual physician's practice.

"There's probably no other virus that clinicians and physicians are more aware of right now than West Nile," he said.
"It's a very difficult market right now for New Jersey physicians," she said.
She's not backing down, though: The restrictions surrounding abortion already violate the Canada Health Act, and right now, she says, physicians are looking to see if there's room for a Charter complaint.
"It's super trendy right now," said Meredith Hester, a physician assistant who was snapping pictures of John Grade's "Middle Fork," a massive tree trunk constructed from reclaimed cedar.
"Right now, there's no way that physicians and pharmacies can talk to each other," said Robinson.
