All pre- and posttests for both years were scored by one of the authors (S.A ., and scoring of the PhAT for this study was independent of any grading that occurred for the course itself.
The upper graph depicts a complete GCC-PHAT of two speech signals at different DOA, recorded with a single microphone pair (d i ℓ =22 cm).
As such, normalized spatial correlation matrices ({bar{mathbf {R}}}_1 omega )), ({bar{mathbf {R}}}_2 omega )) and ({bar{mathbf {R}}}_3 omega )) can be estimated by detecting triangle vertices of blocks' SRP-PHAT of observed signal, see Fig. 2b.

The strongest learning gains observed during both Fall 2008 and Fall 2009 occurred for part B of the PhAT, with 85.28% of the students indicating the principle of parsimony in part B″ as the reason to "prefer" one tree (hypothesis) over the other during Fall 2009.
There is, for example, Sean Combs of the Sean John label; the heads of FUBU (For Us By Us); Russell Simmons of Phat Pharm; and one of the three founders of Enyce.
A similar differentiation exists in Indochinese music in the contrast between the percussion-dominated pi phat band of Thailand and the string-dominated mahori bands of Thailand and Cambodia.
Characteristics of the former style include the soft pi phat music of bamboo xylophones, drums, gongs, and oboe as accompaniment, bent-back finger positions not seen elsewhere in Asia, similar and often identical movements for male and female roles, courtship dances in which lovers touch each other and move in unison, and, in dance-drama, lengthy pure-dance pieces inserted solely for their beauty.
And as Cambodia has achieved a level of political stability, a small but diverse array of Western-run accommodations — including the makeshift restaurant in Chi Phat, part of a project called Community-Based Eco-tourism — has opened in the last few years, catering to both backpackers and the well-heeled.
