During the pre-conference phase, topics were selected, and the work groups were assembled and assigned to specific topics.
But at least during the decline-of-cities phase, the topic was vigorously debated.
In phase one, topic guides were created for respective focus groups with staff, service users, and carers.
Narrative interviews are characterized by an initial phase of topic formulation carried out by the interviewer, followed by the main narrative phase.
In the second phase, the topic of the reference was determined (i.e. sex outside marriage, inter-religious relationships, masturbation, homosexuality, and abortion; see Table 1).

Guideline development can be divided in six phases: prioritizing topics, refining the subject area, assembling development groups, identifying and assessing evidence, translating evidence into clinical practice guidelines and finally reviewing and updating guidelines [ 12].
